Operations Director
Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas is looking for an Operations Director to join our team in Madrid.
You will ensure the completion of projects with the agreed cost, functionality, quality, time and aesthetics to meet the needs of customers around the world with efficient solutions and exceptional added value, through the quantitative and qualitative adequacy of the means, procedures and capabilities of Operations as well as the implementation of relevant control actions in order to ensure that Aries is a reference in the technologies and markets in which it operates, meeting the needs of customers around the world with efficient solutions and exceptional added value.

Job description:
- Establish the strategy from the perspective of developing services or products in the market, with responsibility for defining the means to be used to achieve the objectives set.
- Actively collaborate in the definition of budgets and strategic alliances.
- Assisting the sales force and facilitating their work from a technical point of view.
- Manage the internal resources for the development of the activity at the production, administration and human resources levels.
- Guarantee the company’s capacity to comply with the new contracts signed in terms of quality and resources.
- Establish rules and procedures for management and control of technical functions (Engineering and Projects).
- Drawing up, together with HR, the team’s knowledge management and development plan.
- Monitoring the implementation of the quality policy to ensure continuous improvement of activities.
- Controlling the activity of the projects and the engineering and after-sales service departments, analysing and correcting deviations.
- Propose and guarantee compliance with the approved annual budget, analysing and correcting any deviations that may occur.
- Establish the particular annual objectives together with the project, engineering and after-sales departments and their follow-up.
Requirements:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Telecommunications, Aeronautics, etc….
- At least three (3) years’ experience in the same position in an engineering company with major projects.
- High level of spoken and written English.
- B1 driving licence.
- Availability to travel internationally.
Valuable knowledge and experience:
- Master’s degree in Operations Management or MBA.

Electromechanical engineer
Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas is looking for an electromechanical engineer to join our team in Madrid. On a day-to-day basis, you will participate in international projects of passive safety test execution systems for leading companies in the sector.

Job description:
- Coordination and execution of engineering and machinery projects.
- Participation in after-sales activities (maintenance, breakdowns, re-engineering, etc.).
- 3D mechanical design of machines and components.
- Technical specifications of electromechanical systems.
- Supervision and monitoring of production.
- Communication with suppliers.
- Coordination of manufacturing, assembly and commissioning, both in the office and in the workshop.
- Carrying out installations and commissioning at the end customer’s premises.
- Providing training on the systems to the client.
- Managing improvement projects and the commissioning of electromechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and instrumentation installations.
- Drawing up the documentation associated with projects in the engineering department; specifications, maintenance manuals, plans, CE markings, etc.
Requirements:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering or similar. We will value other training if you have accredited and demostrable experience.
- At least three (3) years’ experience in the same position.
- Medium level of Spanish and English (B2 or higher), spoken and written.
- Driving license B1.
- Availability to travel.
Valuable knowledge and experience
- Knowledge of electronics, instrumentation, machinery and/or industrial test systems.
- Knowledge and experience in electromechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems and installations.
