Our test systems division is composed of a highly-skilled engineering team that has been able to develop our own technology by starting with our complex system designs and integrations. This value-added technology is based directly on the specific needs of our various clients throughout the world, especially in the transportation and industrial sectors.
Highlights from our vast technical know-how include:
ASTE 1A & 1B
ASTE 1A & 1B, located in Alcázar de San Juan (Ciudad Real, Spain), make up one of Europe's largest comprehensive solar power projects, making use of parabolic trough technology.
|
|
| The project consists of two 50 MW concentrated solar power plants (ASTE 1A & 1B), each with parabolic trough collectors and up to 8 hours of thermal storage. These features help create perfectly manageable plants. |

Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas has supplied Chery Automobile with a full scale crash test laboratory designed to evaluate complete vehicle and individual component behavior in the case of an accident, which is accomplished through real crash testing. This allows the real behavior of the complete vehicle and its restraint systems to be analyzed.
The laboratory designed by Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas is capable of testing two vehicles with different velocities and varying approach angles. The company uses sophisticated, state-of-the-art propulsion technology based on AC electrical motors and two lasers which maintain complete control over the vehicle's position. This advanced control system guarantees extremely high precision in both velocity and the vehicle impact point (less than 25 mm in a 90º crash test).
