Madrid, 01.12.2010.- Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas, leading company in automotive passive safety solutions, has been awarded as Best Crash Test Facility and Best Company 2010 by the prestigious British magazine in the last awards edition.

The Best Company 2010 award is an acknowledgement to 20 years of successful results in the passive safety sector. Aries Ingeniería has also been awarded by providing Chery with the most advanced state-of-the-art full scale crash test facility in the world. This innovative laboratory can evaluate the real behavior of the complete vehicle and its restraint systems in case of an accident. The laboratory designed by Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas is capable of testing two vehicles with different velocities and varying approach angles. The company uses sophisticated state-of-the-art propulsion technology based on AC electrical motors and two lasers which maintain complete control over the vehicle´s position.  This advanced control system guarantees extremely high precision in both velocity and vehicle impact point (less than 25 mm in a 90º crash test).  Pioneering facilities in China such as the full scale crash test facility supplied by Aries, contribute to the Chinese automakers expansion to different markets with more demanding regulations.

Following strategic forethought, Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas has identified the Asian automobile market as an emerging force to bet on it. The company offers tailor-made solutions, which can improve vehicle safety in different countries of the Asiatic region, especially in India, South Korea and China.

Last October Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas signed a contract with the Indian government company NATRIP to supply several passive safety systems. The Spanish company has agreed to supply the Indian collaboration project with two Universal Launcher systems and an Airbag testing laboratory under controlled temperature conditions, with the purpose of improving vehicle safety and standardization according to European, American, Indian standards.

By supplying solutions to Chery Automobile, Great Wall Motors, BYD, Honda, Tata Motors, NATRIP, CAERI, NAST, KATRI, MIROS, Autoliv, Key Safety Systems, Delphi, etc. Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas has reinforced its presence in the Asian market its intention of keep growing at a fast pace.
