June 30th, 2011 - Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas attended the 2nd European Facility for Advanced Seismic Testing (EFAST) Workshop in Ispra, Italy on June 29th and 30th. Over 30 international experts joined the conference, where Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas contributed expertise in the seismic and dynamic testing and presented some of the company’s solutions, such as seismic shaking tables, to the team.
| The EFAST project, financed by the European Commission Seventh Framework Programme, is designing a high performance testing facility with advanced test methods in order to study and meet the needs of earthquake mitigation. The EFAST project invited key individuals and sector-leading companies to take part in the studies which identify the current and future needs in the field.
As a world leader in the testing sector, Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas was able to contribute expert knowledge on the mitigation measures that protect citizens, properties, infrastructures, and cultural heritage sites. The seismic testing that Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas provides helps both private and public researchers and investors improve their analysis and design methods. |
