Aries Power & Industrial Company is a renewable energy engineering and development company located in San Francisco, CA. Aries Power & Industrial is the subsidiary of Aries Ingenieria y Sistemas headquartered in Madrid, Spain. Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas has developed, designed, engineered, and managed the construction of 40 MW PV projects in Spain. We currently own and operate two projects totaling 15 MW. In addition, Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas is developing 500 MW of concentrated solar power plants in Spain and commenced construction of 150 MW of concentrated solar parabolic trough plants. Our projects are not limited to Spain, as we serve clients worldwide. Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas's activities in the U.S. include providing engineering services and developing renewable power projects.

MISSION & OBJECTIVES

• Manage and/or design power plant systems for renewable energy projects
• Support business development activities to obtain engineering and development contracts for Photovoltaic, CSP, Wind, and Hydroelectric renewable energy projects.
• Provide engineering expertise and manage developing power plants
• Support negotiations of Power Purchase Agreements, permitting and regulating activities
• Support development of business growth strategies in the U.S. and Canadian markets
• Over time, build engineering staff to provide expertise for engineering services and project development.
• Collaborate and coordinate with Aries Ingeniería y Sistemas's Engineering Department in Madrid, Spain.

PROFILE

EDUCATION

Required:

• California Electrical PE license, PE licenses in additional states a plus.
• BS Electrical Engineering required.

Preferred:

• MS Electrical Engineering Preferred

EXPERIENCE

• Experience with power plant construction (EPC), experience with solar power, PV component procurement preferred.
• Experience designing power plant systems, experience with PV systems –ground mount and rooftop.
